CASE STUDY

Biomass | United Kingdom

This project is the result of the acquisition of a portfolio of wood pellet biomass boilers installed in 51 care and retirement homes in the UK.

With outputs ranging from 60 kW to 300 kW, each of these installations supplies heating and domestic hot water to buildings belonging to Maria Mallaband Countrywide, Advinia Care Homes and Lifeways Group.

These projects benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive support mechanism set up in 2011 in the UK to promote the development of low-carbon heat production projects in the country.
