Waste heat recovery

Waste heat recovery consists in capturing and valuing exhaust heat from production processes, cooling systems or energy installations, that is usually dispersed into the environment, thereby contributing to more efficient energy use and reducing thermal waste.

We invest in projects to recover waste heat and value this energy through the production of heating and domestic hot water, the preheating of air or water, or the production of heat dedicated to industrial processes.

Waste heat recovery projects offer a number of significant advantages. By reusing waste heat, companies can reduce their energy costs, help cut CO2 emissions and improve their economic profitability. The decarbonization challenge is massive. In France only, 109.5 TWh of waste heat are rejected by the industrial sector every year, representing 36% of the sector’s fuel consumption.
