“Starquest Capital energizes Kyotherm”.

Kyotherm, launched last June, has raised 0.952 million Euros. It has received 0.3 million Euros from one of Starquest Capital’s holding companies, Greenquest 2, while the founders and private investors complete this seed round. The start-up was born of a partnership with Dalkia, the former employer of founder Arnaud Susplugas. It already has two projects underway to create small geothermal and biomass power plants, based – without contractual exclusivity – on Dalkia’s technologies, which the latter will install. Now it’s up to the start-up to find the project financing and administrative authorizations, and above all to fine-tune the business model for its micro-power plants.
